Valeria Jelvez focuses her practice on criminal litigation.
She previously worked at the Public Criminal Defender’s Office (Defensoría Penal Pública) and as research assistant at the Center for Arbitration and Mediation at the Universidad Central.
Ms. Jelvez received her law degree (J.D. equivalent) from the Universidad de Chile, where she graduated summa cum laude.
She also holds a post-graduate degree in criminal law from the Universidad de Chile on “Current Issues of Criminal Procedure”.
She was a teaching assistant of State Responsibility and Legal Clinic at the Universidad de Chile.
Valeria Jelvez is a member of the Chilean Bar Association.
